Pathway & Steps Transformation — Brook Farm, Bickerstaff

A complete redesign of the front pathway and steps at this beautiful rural property near Bickerstaff, Lancashire. The new Ashlar Sandstone pattern in Steel Grey gives a natural stone appearance with all the durability and low maintenance of imprinted concrete.

Melifont kerbs in Charcoal were used to build and define the new steps, creating a clean, contrasting border that frames the pathway beautifully and gives excellent structural definition to each step edge.

The result is a welcoming, elegant entrance that is completely weed-free, drainage-friendly and built to last — with no ongoing maintenance beyond occasional resealing every few years.

Why Choose Imprinted Concrete for Pathways & Steps?

Patterned imprinted concrete is one of the best surfaces for pathways and garden steps — here is why our clients across Merseyside choose it over alternatives.

Weed Free

Unlike block paving or natural stone, imprinted concrete has no joints for weeds or moss to grow through. Once sealed, the surface stays clean with minimal effort.

Anti-Slip

We add an anti-slip agent to the sealer coat as standard — essential for steps and pathways that need to be safe in wet conditions all year round.

Low Maintenance

A pressure wash and reseal every 2–4 years is all that is needed to keep imprinted concrete looking as good as the day it was laid.

Natural Stone Look

Patterns like Ashlar Sandstone give a genuine natural stone appearance at a fraction of the cost of real stone, and with far greater durability.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every pathway and step project we install comes with our lifetime structural guarantee — the only company in Liverpool to offer this.

Curb Appeal

A well-designed pathway and steps dramatically improves the first impression of any property — and adds real value to your home.
